A Worm in the Heart
A young gay couple from Ireland and Wales go under-cover and travel across Russia on the Trans-Siberian railway — stopping off in cities thousands of miles apart to meet with members of the LGBT+ population living under oppressive laws and harsh societal attitudes. Armed with only two cameras and each other, film-maker Paul Rice and his boyfriend Liam meet with Russia’s queer population who risk everything to share their stories.
